1.1bar is max boost for now. Tomorrow I am going too try and hook up the ebay boost controller lol. I am going to have my hot pipe off anyway so I might as well play with more boost.

Hows 23psi sound? Do you think pump can handle it haha. I think I will try 20psi to stay safe. Maybe throw in some 100 octane and head to the dyno. I really wanna hit over 400wheel on pump.

The car feels like it is slowly getting faster. Maybe this is because of the break in? Car is finally spinning 3rd gear, sometimes even at 80mph. It only does it when i shift though. I cant break traction just rolling on the throttle.

I may be raising the boost later down the road. My new radiator will get here on friday. I will drop it in friday night and have her ready for GTlive. With AC baby! (hopefully).

I did a monster burnout today after work. I covered all 10 parking lanes and another 20ft after that. The car just dragged the rear end all over the place. I have never done a burnout like that before. I will get one on video sometime.

When I get some free time and money I will be investing in a profec or something to control the boost. I am feeling a 21-23psi pump gas monster. I don't think that is out of reach for this elevation since it equates to about 18-21psi at sea level.

What kinda pump gas do you have out there? 92? 93? 21 doesnt sound bad but that the most I could run on 91 pee water gas. Did you dyno the car yet to see what it's doing? Do you have a EGT gauge installed to see what your temps are like with that much timing?

i am also curious on what das you are running to get that type of timing......Get to a dyno and see if and where you could be detonating......be safe with this beauty.......

The car is not detonating. Not even close. I will be lowering the timing when I up the boost. I am running about 19* advance on the dizzy right now, but the datascan reveals that the tune pulls all timing out at about 4k rpm, then feeds it in about 1* for every 1k rpm. So at 5k I have like 17, 6k; 18-19, and at 7k I max at 21.

The car bogs down a little when the base timing is set at the JWT recommended 15*. I am stuck with 91 octane pump. I do not have an EGT on the car yet. That will have to wait a lil while. But the engine note is smooth throughout the powerband, def no detonation.

I will be going to GT live and I will take a look at my friend's koyo. If I can find a way to make it fit with some fans then I will give it a shot. But it looks like it will be a slim chance. I am in the market for another nx radiator, but nobody around here can get them!

If I order a koyo I will have a mint nx radiator ....

Ohh ok I thought that you knew what the timing was on the ecu not dizzy.

timing on the ecu is the 21* at redline. The dizzy is set to about 18* so That puts me at a total of 24* timing. The computer doesn't know about the extra 3* of timing I have added to the dizzy.

On another note, here are some more videos of VVL action!

Stock Trans am. Yay.

Cobb tuning STI stage 2, with a cold air intake. Downpipe, up pipe, exhaust, and the reflash. maybe 300awhp up here on the mustang awd dyno?

the car has about 600 miles on her now. It made the GT Live trip of 70 or so miles without a hitch and came back in one piece too. This car is very fun and sounds great. I can't wait to get her to the dyno and see what kind of numbers I can get! I am hoping to get over 400whp on 20psi.
