external wastegate help. please!
I need some external wastegate help BADLY.
I have one of the new tial wastegates (one thats water cooled)
has 2 top unmarked ports, 3 marked "air" ports, and 2 h20 ports.

I have the wastegate hooked up like so..
top unmarked port is left to vent. 2nd unmarked port I have my vacuum line hooked up to it.
3 "air ports" are blocked off
2 h20 ports im not using. (says on the site they dont have to be used.)

When the car is running (idling) the exhaust comes out of the external dump tube.
but when I go to drive the car it runs fine until I try to WOT the car, gets to about 2psi and then hits what i call fuel cut.

what am I doing wrong?
plz help me out.

need pics, videos, etc ill provide what you need in order to help me out.

If you really do have your vacuum line hooked up to it, then that's your problem. It needs to see boost, not vacuum. And preferably, boost only, and never vacuum.

It's probably something else though... =/

If you can post a pic of how you have everything installed also are you running any kind of boost controller or anything?

Things look okay to my untrained eye. You might take the gate off and pressure test each port to make sure you get the right one.
Are you sure you're not actually hitting a fuel cut or something?

Read this carefully and you will find your answer.

Also it is ok to use a vacuum/boost source vs straight boost.
Some people say you get better response from WG and boost.

Looks to me like you have the boost signal goin to the wrong port.

If you arent using any boost control other then set spring psi.
Then you are gonna want to connet your boost signal to 1 of the ports labeled AIR.

Plug the other 2 AIR ports then just leave the other ports that are unlabeled open.

hold on its raining so lets do some learning. 1st before I try this again.

Im also trying to upload a video.

ok so let me get this right.

h2o ports dont have to be used cause im not using them.
the 3 "air" ports 2 have to be blocked off and the other one I need my line from the comp housing to it.
2 unlabled ports I leave open.

correct or wrong?
