damn, sorry to hear about all your issues but it sounds like you're getting them figured out. That TPS wire was in bad shape!

get a new pigtail with 12 inches of wire strip half of it and strip 6 inches from existing make 180 bend and hook and twist both pieces. get a small butane torch like 3 bucks from harbor freight and get some radio schack flux cored solder and a tub of flux as well. less oxidation displaced the better. put a liberal amount feed cool heat shrink tape. get some t bolt clamps.zip tie all vaccum hoses to ports. recirculate your bov.check for coolant in oil.check spark plugs for coolant fouling.as well as usingfi flashlight to check for coolant seapage.starting up engine cold. check for exhaust leaks by running your hand very quickly around fittings.clean your maf since you ran it without filter.install a new filter.if youre not running a z32 fuel filter. be a good time toget one.reset tps voltage to spec.check alt if having a battery problem.test from alt.use a new battery.check connections and grounds.run through vaccum routing.vadim has a very good diagram on this on one of his write ups.his diagram I used to route my own and runs no issue.makes it very simple for you.try setting it up as stock as possible is always a good rule of thumb to getting it running right which you are doing right now.pull intake check turbo for oil leakage shaft play and abrasions by propeller. take the car for a spin and drive it normal for a while.then do a couple of pulls.i wish you luck.anything else do not hesitate to ask

Ok..... So ...... When I started the car today I noticed some white/gray smoke coming from the exhaust. I Adjusted the TPS to .48 and took the car for a drive. Car runs pretty good when cold and as soon as it gets hot, same shit, bogs, goes nowhere fast. Accelerates slower than bicycle. Checked TPS when I got home and it was at .49 closed and 4.18 open. I think I can rule that out. I didn't see any smoke when I got home, I checked. I just put a different t25 on the car that had minimal shaft play and seemed to be in good condition, so I'm thinking I might have a head gasket issue. Could a bad head gasket cause my car to run so poorly?

So after that I went and checked my maf voltage, and it was at .8 with the key on and 1.56 with the car idling. I think thats out of spec if I remember correctly. Perhaps I need a new maf, along with a head gasket lol.

You may have a cts problem or coil problem if it's only doing it when it warms up. I've seen cam sensors act funny after warm up as well.

If your ecu thinks the coolant temp is colder than it is, it will dump fuel like crazy. If it thinks it's hotter than it is it will pull fuel. Post some pics of your plugs for us. It may tell you about your headgasket as well.

The first thing I did which I forgot to say was replaced the CTS with a 91-94 ser one. I was looking at it just now and I notice the loom was all electrical taped up.

It's got a black ground I'm assuming and a blue wire/orange stripe going to it. Gauge temp has a blue wire with black stripe. Can anyone confirm that is correct for me?

I wonder if that plug could be wired backwards... Anyone got a 240 they can look at for me, give me the plug orientation and color of the wires on your harness to the plug?

Tried my other rail/fpr/injectors, no change. Cleaned up some grounds and fixed two wires that were worn into the copper, no change.

I got a new plug for my maf so I can clip it on like normal. I followed my maf wiring up to the gray sheath. Theres a black wire and a red wire going to pin B, a green wire going to pin C, and a white wire going to pin d. Is this what its supposed to be? Also it seems like there are some wire strands inside the sheath that don't go to anything. Please help if you have any info.... heres a pic

Does the car have a consult port? It gives you a quick overview what sensors are working, and you can see if some basic sensors starts acting up when it bogs down. You can also check for saved error codes..

Can't really help you with the wiring colors, but sooner or later you might have to dig into that electrical tape mess someone left you with. It could short out somewhere?
