Stuck with what VVL head to use for vet build.
I currently have two Cylinder head set ups.
- P11 SR20VE Head with N1 Manifold & throttle body with 850cc injectors.
- SR20VET Head
BOTH heads will have porting done, oversized valves, & large cams. Both setups are using COP and CAS
Each set up could fetch some good money if sold and kept the other
If i used the VET head, i would have to buy new injectors and 20v intake and install p11 exhaust rockers (which i have spare anyways)
What would be the best path to take, I am really stuck. My power goal is 400-500HP and i am awd. I have talked to a few people and got some good opinions.
- SR20VET head is better on paper, but once you boost them they are about the same as the p11
- To squeeze every last HP out of the setup, use the best base head (vet)
- If i used the vet head i will have the "wank factor" of having a Genuine SR20VET (i am using the vet block with ether builds)
- I already have all the parts for the p11 setup, sell the vet head and get some money to pay for porting labor costs.
