looking for a new engine AGAIN
Hey guys havent been on here in a while after my motor crapped out a second time I gave up on rebuilding my g20, bought an accord an did an h22 swap and I hate it. I still have the g20 and I wanting to install another engine. I saw tigerjapanese has what I think is the bluebird for 695 and just wonder if any one has purchased motors from them. How was ur expirence and how was the condition of the engine when it shipped to u.

Why don't you just get a motor from Andreas Miko? He's in Florida... @Andreas Miko

get a motor from miko. his stuff is hand picked and will be cleaner than anything you can buy from a importer.

I bought a w10 from tiger a few years back and the engine cylinders were out of spec, turbo coolant feed line was plugged from some jap using too much rtv on the water pump. I wouldnt buy from them again. ALSO, be wary of japanese engine since after the tsunami. My friends k24 arrived a few weeks back and it had water and sand in the intake.

Get the avenir not bluebird. I got my avenir from tiger and it was in decent shape. I'm still running it 5 years later. Also mine nine as a w11 with Bb Turbo. Even though I had good experience tiger is a 50/50 company.

Definitely a good engine is going to cost you more, you get what you pay for. Personally, if having to buy another engine, I'd either get one from Miko or Greg @ Gspec. Beyond that, I wouldn't trust that much money to anyone.

And that's my 2 cents
