Bluebird swap - Bogging when accelerating on 1st and 2nd
My car seems to struggle a little bit when u try to accelerate it in first and second, like it will start accelerating then stop for like half a second and then it will keep going, sometimes it will do this a few times so i just shift, second gear does it a little as well. Feels like if its getting too much gas or something but the car hasn't been touchd, it has stock bluebird ecu, everything just like i bought it (when it was running good).

I took out the sparkplugs and saw some oil on the thread and some carb in the intake manifold, the valve cover gasket was replaced last year and there is no oil dripping down from the tubes, looks like it's all at the threads but no signs on how it got there. piston rings gone ? Engine only has about 60k on it, was sitting for about 2 yrs (turning it on every few months). It also smokes a little after the car has been running for over 1 hr and a half straight, light white/blueish smoke looks like oil burning but no leaks anywhere.

Any ideaS ?

Boost leak test? Also, does the car do this when fully warmed up?

The car does this anytime, wether warm or not, it runs good when boost kicks in. It only does it when starting out on the gear i would say the first 1200 rpm's u might get this feeling, then boost comes in and takes that out, after u hit 3rd gear tho u don't feel this at all. Could this be related to a bad rear mount ?

Sounds like valve seals are bad.

It stopped smoking like that but it still does it after a while. Like say i got 2 hrs and a half 3 h ours straight driving it, you will see the smoke come out and it would not stop no matter how long i leave it idling for. I have to shut off the car, wait for it to cool down a little bit and then drive it for it to stop smoking. It isn't a lot of smoke but when it does start it comes from the exhaust even as i accelerate the car.

thinking on getting my valve seals done, if it helps i found some oil in the thread of the first spark plug from left to right. All the other ones were clean but that one you could see some oil there. Anything i could take a look back without having to take the whole head apart ?

no boost leak, when in boost the car runs at its best. It's only when it's running off the engine, boost gets rid of that issue. The car does this bogging any time. I tried cleaning the little oil i found in one of the spark plugs but it didnt make a difference. I'm gonna change my spark plug wires as 2 of them look like are bad and take it from there. Also gotta replace the mount still, havent had the time to do that.
