RTV is a high-heat silicone used in automotive to seal certain liquids and prevent them from leaking. They sell it at Autozone.

Teflon tape works well for sealing threads.

You need to read more about tuning your AFRs. Be careful, keep it rich.

couple things.1) is that a full gtir motor or a sr20de with a gti-r intake and valve cover? 2) can't see shit on your video try doing it again during the day. I would do several things first. 1) get a new oil line with the proper fittings. make sure to run a oil restrictor .065 is right for your 18g 2) get a nissport oil adapter and run your oil feed and sending unit from there. 3) get a new oil gauge(electric) mechanical is good but oil running into you cars interior can get messy. 4) pull the oil pan and run a magnet through it. inspect the oil pick up and make sure its not bent or has rtv chunks blocking it. After doing these things restart the car. If you still don't have more than 65 psi of oil pressure you have another problem. a stock de makes 80psi on cold start up. a gtir pump makes 90+psi on cold start up. you should idle around 18-20psi with the car fully warmed up(about 15-20mins of idle time).

1. my motor is a stock de with a gtir set of intake and valve cover. its the highport de.
2. I will revideo the thing after checking numbers 1-4.

1. I have a brand new oil line on the car, two actually. with the reused T.
oil restictor .065 goes where? idk if i have one on the car or not.
2. Nissport oil adapter, oil feed sending unit (easy enough) (will look into)
3. oil gauge, I agree I need a new one. whats a good one to go with? prosport?
4.pull oil pan, run magnet through it, inspect oil pickup,
2.

the restrictor goes in the oil feed before the turbo. it can be on either end of the oil feed. mine is mounted in the turbo and the oil line attaches to it. you could also put in on the engine block where the nissport adapter is. Nissport is a oil adapter that mounts in the stock sender location.

buy a depo oil gauge. Prosport is okay but I like depo better. I have used both.

Ive had prosport in my old sr20ve-t b13 sentra.
so ill give depo a try.
I will have to get those asap cause I don't need to mess up another turbo.
If the weather is nice today I'm going to pull the oil pan off and see what I can find in there. Lets pray I dont find anything but, I know theres a possibility that I do.
Then I will go from there after the parts come in after ordering them.

when you pull the pan make sure the gasket between the oil pick up tube and the oil pump is there. that will cause low oil pressure as well.

53J de with GTIR pistons in it
everyone that i have dealt with has been around 10-15psi oil pressure at idle and 40-50 at cruise (3000 rpm)

thats what the guy who did all the work told me.
