You must have some nice loot. With a caged up Drifter M3 and your going for a 400-500 horsepower street S13. Good luck with the build man. I'm not sure if this applies to you so ignore it if it doesn't. Be responsible out there on the streets with all that power. Sometimes guys F up bad with fast cars, and innocent folks get hurt in the process.

I should clarify, this SR didn't have a rod knock, it had a valve train noise from the bad cam lobe. Oil pressure was still great so I'm hoping the crank is ok. We will see!

I think I've settled on

-tomei solid pivot
-tomei 270 solid cams
-mazworx reg or 1/2" studs depending on if the block needs boring, etc. The bores actually look great to me since it was rebuilt recently, we will see!

Shooting for 8000rpm redline to keep it reliable with the 91 stroke. I like to be able to sit on the limiter drifting so reliability is key.

Also decided Apexi or Cosworth for the HG. Seems people like those best.

Any other "must haves?"

Thanks guys!

Can that stroker crank take 8K rpm? If it was me I'd call up BC to ask them what they think about that plan.

Yeah it can. I can call BC and verify but piston speed at 8000 is about 4,700 ft/min so it shouldn't be an issue. Not too excessive, but it's up there. It was already spinning to 7800 before I pulled it apart.

And Justin Ninni of TuningConcepts will be tuning it. World renowned and tunes all of Boost Logic's 1500+ whp cars, so I think I'll be set there.
