Nismo Clutch Disk, Which Pressure Plate to Use?
As the title states, what pressure plate works with the Nismo Clutch Disk?

fooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooor?

rwd? fwd? awd? sr20??

im gonna go ahead and assume its a replacement the factory unit, and will work with any pressure plate for the same car.. so if b13/14/p10/p11 and some b15's then use a pressure plate for that car, same with the rwd/awd shit

Most people would say OEM, JWT, or Clutchmasters. I'm assuming the Nismo disc is just a B15 disc and not anything pucked. You got a picture of it or something?

Sorry for the lack of details. It is the Nismo 3 puck fwd that Gspec has on its website. I bought a P10 several years back that had it installed in it with OEM pressure plate from a dealer. The car has a det swap and the last 2 aftermarket clutch disc have failed. I figured since I have a good clutch disc, I would find the pressure plate to go with it.

I personally would run a clutchmasters stage 3 to be on the safe side... great pedal feel and you won't have to worry if you upgrade the turbo to a larger small frame turbo.

I'm using a jwt pp an b15 disk in my car, I got it used and put almost 4 years of abuse on it before I put my 2871r on an have been fine so far for about a year now. Altho ididnt expect it to, I'd reccomend the fx 400 at a minimum if he were to upgrade.

That's a lot of disc to hold T25 power level. What type of discs failed on you? The ACT have become notorious for failure and many people around here hate clutchnet

My last turbo SE-R was a GTiR T28 @10psi on a DE motor. It had ClutchMasters Stage 1 with un-sprung disc. Held 260hp/245 tq for a long time, as well as my VE setup before that.

I'm of the theory that I'd rather have the disc fail than risk of start breaking trannies by over clutching it. Like a fuse for your drivetrain.
