There should be plenty of room if everything is stock and how it should be. You could check the pictures in my thread when I swapped my wastegate. I have a similar setup with GTi-R manifold and stock sized turbo.

Oh man those pics are perfect, exactly what I needed to see...
My hang up was that the tiny t25 that I am replacing was only ever on the header I am also replacing during this process. The header is a RWD and moves the turbo like 4+ inches away from the block. The reason I mention this is because of those extra inches there was room to allow the actuator to be mounted at say a 3 oclock position (if looking into the compressor inlet then vision the clock) This was the OEM location for the actuator (89 300zx TT) and my replacement T25 off a 240sx Also has the actuator mounted at the 3 o'clock position... Well with the GTIr there is no way in hell it'll fit there lol I knew there had to be something different, and your pic shows it... actuator in your pics is mounted more like a 1 oclock position.

So I just briefly looked at my turbo and I now have another question, to function from that position how is your arm connected? In the pics is is clearly straight but the lil arm on the turbo is straight/flat towards the 3 o'clock, does your arm have a bend you made after the pics or can I turn/bend the lil arm to allow the actuator arm to slide over the pin, but if I do this (of course intelligently) will that let it function right... looks like I could but I dont wanna bend it just to go "crap nope" and bend it back lol

I have an okay picture of the whole assembly from the rear that I will find. They will answer your question(s).
And I think you will come to see that the magic is all in the wastegate actuator mount...

Edit: @KEGMotorsports this should be what you need to see.

I think ATP sells a similar mount...
