Wastegate actuator options - GTi-R T28
I have a T28 GTi-R turbo that I am thinking of swapping onto my Bluebird DET. Only issue is that I don't have the wastegate actuator. There are a couple options, like on Ebay or the HKS actuator - problems with the Ebay option is I don't know if it will work / fit. And the HKS minimum boost is ~14 psi. I am still on the 370cc / stock MAF turbo JWT program running 91 octane in California. Ideally, I would want to run somewhere between 8-12 psi on the street if the injectors / MAF can take it and upgrade the fuel / MAF components later.

Thoughts, experience on the wastegate actuators mentioned above or other options welcome. Thanks.

ATP turbo is probably your best bet.

+1 for atp turbo. you can get the bracket and waste gate from them. get the gt28rs style waste gate.

Is this the one you both are referring to?

Wastegate Actuator 28RS style, 14 PSI : atpturbo.com

What about the T25 wastegate actuator? Would that one fit / work?

yes thats the correct one they also have another that opens at 6-7psi. iirc the t25 waste gate does not unbolt from the bracket. waste gate mounts up different on a t25 vs a t28. If you have the correct mounting bracket any two bolt threaded rod waste can be made to work.

thats deff the wastegate you want for internal use.
u can purchase the atp bracket too.
sometimes u have to slightly modify the bracket to make it work.

If you are running 370 injectors I would suggest to get the 7psi one, and if you want to increase to 10psi get an MBC.

Please help me out guys... I'm searching now (how I found this thread) but in the mean time I thought I'd ask you all too. So I have the GTIR manifold, installing it on a FWD 200sx SER, and I cannot seem to be able to mount an actuator AT ALL because lack of space. There literally is only about 1/2 to 1" TOPS of room between the compressor and the block, WHAT am I not doing right?

(I am reclocking the T25 in the process, and had assumed it was a matter of simply tapping new holes on the back of the compressor (where some OEM mount it) but there just simply is no room back there.)
