Rich I would not ditch the S4's to get sme BC's. Keep the S4's bro. Those cams have been proven over and over again. I for one would not go with any other cam.

S4's FTW!!

this seems to be everyones opinion.

would you reccommend getting a 02 intake mani while running the t28 ? or wait till i upgrade the turbo ?

ive seen excellant power with my gt2871 .86, on my last tune at 10lbs i was peaking 295wtq at 4k rpm and full boost by 3600rpm...now im at 17lbs...

but i highly recomend the 2871 depending on yuor build willdepnd on the AR you choose, but i was really happy with my last tune that i seen full boost so soonin the rpm band with such a larger AR.

thats some nice numbers at 10psi. how does she feel at 17 ?? yeah im deff getting a 71r i just want whatever housings that i can just bolt her right in and change nothing. hopefully rc000e will make a screamer j pipe and that will help eliminate boost creep and exhuast turbulance with a internally gated turbo.

haha 10bs was just retarded fast, but 17lbs is just scary lol, i need new tires to be able to actually get traction, on the dyno my setup was seeing 15whp/10wtq per psi of boost, so right now the power is at roughly 405whp/400wtq it still needs some more cleaning up on the tune up top and i want to get into all the aem ems goodies ie:gear to boost ratios/antilag,2 step so i can actually get traction lol

but i see alot of ppl who say that the 2871 isnt capable of high numbers and the larger AR is lagy, and its so not true, i am glad i could hit the 400s without having to break into the 20lbs mark, and on top of that able to see very fast spool, along with not hving to go to a laggy gt30r/t3 setup, most definitly happy with the gt28 series turbo

thanks for that info man, do you have a link to some money shots of your car pics whatever. if thats what your actually making at 17 pounds that ****ing insane, 400whp is no joke and thats actually what i would love to make and wouldnt want to make anymore as my motor is stock lol.

from what i hear, most people love the gt28 series. Very fast spool time and with the 71 it just makes insane power. I would get one but even used they are expensive. Im still going to run my T25 until i dyno and get a good drag day on slicks. Then i will look into upgrading but probably going to go with a less expensive Greddy 18G TDO5. spool time is still really good and capable of 400whp at around 20-22psi depending on tune. With the S4's i have and open 3" downpipe i think it will be plenty capable. 350whp all day long and 400 if duty calls. haha. Plus its still a T2 flange so it bolts right up to my manifold and 5 bolt outpipe.
