Well no.matter what I would atleast put in springs and retainers with any cam you know? and yea. everyone warns about s5 cams..

I had a long talk with Ben at JWT about the S5 cams and wrote about it. Let me find that.

I mentioned them on the phone with JWT. They said they were developed specifically for some racing series (that limited how good the cam could be) and have specs they wouldn't normally recommend. They seemed to give the impression that unless you needed them for this one racing league, they were not a good idea. They said the C2 cams would be a much better idea if you wanted something with those specs. They gave me the impression that they weren't something to consider as a mid-way point between the C2 and C3 cams.

ok i went to Dyno with the S4HL cams and i lost 20hp to what i had before with the S3, but i think something is wrong with timing or i got boost leaks, so i'm taking my car to a shop to check cam install and then i'll check boost leaks and then Dyno again to see what happens

hahaha yeah i hope to get more power too, because with S3 and 10psi on a DE+T engine i made 276hp and it had a really good pull but with S4hl i don't feel it as aggressive since with s3 it would spin 2nd gear more but i did find problems which where some boost leaks on valve cover hoses and my o-ring on my T28(GTi-R) is bad so its letting boost out but i hope to atleast get 280hp plus once i fix the turbo issue since i fixed the other stuff already
