You/anyone have experience running one of those atp wastegates linked in the thread on a gtir t28? Just want to confirm fitment before I go ahead and order one. Also, will the wastegates work fine with my stock wastegate bracket?

ran one on a s14/s15 bb turbo but not on a gtir. Both units have a threaded rod so you can make them longer or shorter.

Thanks cotrim, i just want to be 100% sure itll work before i order it. Anybody ever run one of these wastegates on a gtir or have experience with it first hand?

Also will my stock bracket work?

the gtir waste gate bracket will work. I have used the gtir bracket with a different waste gate. All internals fail eventually from heat. The gtir unit was designed to be replaced thats why it bolts to the bracket. Most of the other oem waste gates are fixed on the bracket so the hole unit needs to be changed. Benfenner also has pictures in his build thread where he changed the waste gate on his gtir.
