Wastegate Issue
Having an issue with my wastegate on my gtir t28 setup. Car won't see more then 5psi regardless if the boost controllers connected or the wastegates disconnected. From what I was told my wastegates no good. Not sure which wastegate and bracket you guys recommend for a gtir t28 setup thats clocked down. Need a w/g and bracket that'll clear and have no if not minimal issues to make it fit.

I had the same problem with my t25 only boosted 5 lbs, look into the forge motorsports wastegate, and you could use your old bracket. Its a badass wastegate, its rebuildable and springs can be replaced for more boost. and the rod is adjustable also, very nice. I have that one now its for a mazdaspeed protege but its the same they use a t25 also.

Sounds like a perfect WG for me! While looking for a 5psi WG I came across this guy, for the price it's a pretty good deal (if it fits on T2's).

New firmware for NEMU ECU's will offer EBC support and boost by gear. That 5 psi is for first gear, my attempts to keep some traction

Would a rwd t28 wastegate work on a gtir t28?

You can get what you need from atp turbo. did you make sure the e-clip did not come off the waste gate arm(waste gate stuck open).

Not to sound annoying but mind posting the link to the wastegate from atp? Went through their site and wasnt sure which wastegate would work.

Unless a rwd t28 will work. There's one local to me u can grab and put in the car quick which makes things a lot easier.
