Yeah, it sounds like the tune is off somewhere. The FPR is kind of a band aid. Are you planning on having it dyno tuned?

Well no one locally would be able to do any dyno tuning, at least no one TRUSTWORTHY.

Even the shop owner takes his hatch to LoCash up in Phoenix for dyno tuning, as the only dynos that are available here aren't that great, or they're owned by hot rodders that don't have any appreciation for the tuner/import crowd.

Funny you mention the tune being off, though. One of the techs at the shop SWEARS that the tune is off, but what I don't understand is that it's damn near identical to the bins that others were able to plug in, and run with, without modification.

Stupid car! ARGH! Thanks swiss, I'll bump the fuel pressure tonight and see what she sits at. I'd rather be on the rich side than on the lean side.

Okay so I worked on the car today for a few minutes. Basically trying to figure out the idle and fuel issues, again.

Had to hold my foot on the gas to keep it running until it warmed up, and it would stay idling roughly once somewhat warm.

Started playing around checking for any signs of vacuum leak, and decided to pull the vacuum line for the absolute pressure solenoid, being that it's not used for the 95~97 ECU. Idle immediately jumped up beyond 2500 rpm and acted like it wanted to keep going higher. I plugged the vacuum line back in, and the idle didn't drop back down.

Not sure why, so I shut the car off, and decided to plug the harness connection back in. Restarted the car, and she STILL wanted to idle high?

Anyone think that the vacuum line to the absolute pressure sensor could be damaged? Being that the ECU doesn't need it, or see it, I'm thinking about just removing the sensor and vacuum line all together.

Thoughts? I know I know, I still need to do a pressure test, but I want to get her into timing mode first and make sure that timing is correct, and that the IACV is adjusted to where it needs to be, in order to hold a somewhat stable idle. Right now the adj. screw is almost all the way out, which in my opinion shouldn't be.

Anyone know what's related to the Fuel Injection System CEL? (076 shown on nissan datascan).

Popped up last night while I was continuing to mess around with the car.

How about I found the problem!!!!!!!1!!!1!1111

Damnit I'm kicking myself in the head right now for not listening to a few individuals. (Calum buddy, you rawk)

I finally gave in and changed my injectors back to 370's, and reloaded the 370 4 bar program up, and gave her a start.

IDLES BEAUTIFULLY!!!!! ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! No studdering, no nothing.

Time to send the injectors off to RC engineering tomorrow.

If you can wait until July I'll flow test them and give you the correct latency values.

I'd love to, but I don't think I can wait. I'm sending them off today for testing at Injector Rehab. I'm hoping to get them back by the end of the week and put them in I need to get this car on the road, for good. I won't drive her right now, with the 370's installed, because I'm afraid of causing damage due to the size of the turbine.

With the boost turned down you won't top out the 370s@4bar. Trust me.

Really? Boost is at 9psi right now. If that's the case, then maybe I should be driving her!

I still want to send them off, as these 370's are now property of Chriscar. I already spoke with him and he's okay with it, but I don't want to send them to him a month down the road

Okay, this is wierd.

Took her out for a spin again right now. At idle, AFR's are fine. Once I put her in gear and slowly let out the clutch, AFR's go CRAZY rich, and I have to give her a bit more throttle to keep her running. Once cruising, AFR's bounce a bit more than I'd like, but under WOT, she's in the 11.0~11.2 range on the wideband, and the turbo REALLY scares me now.

Definitely some issues that need to be worked out, but she's driveable for now, I guess.

Anyone care to look at the log from calumsult? I'm open to any input.

Oh, and of course the vacuum is still low, but I don't know whether to blame the gauge or not. The vacuum/boost gauge reads about 5~8inHg. around idle.
