Don't get an AEM dryflow

I held one of these in my hand the other day. It was the biggest POS I have ever seen. The filter looks exactly like a q-tip. If you got any water on that you would probably suck the filter right into your intake. Even where the filter meets the rubber flange was poorly done.

The quality on the APC was not bad. Definatly not as good as the bigger name brands. You can tell the filter material wasn't as tightly put together. I would assume it would flow really well but not filter the best.

There was another filter there too. I never seen anything like it. There was no cotton filter media. It was all stainless mesh. It was really fine mesh. It weighed a ton and looked crazy. It had bright orange endcap and flange. Thing was like $70 though!

Interesting. We may have to get pics. I went and looked at the shorty at advance and it looks ok but the button in the cap sits right over the intake pipe. It looked really restrictive especially for a turbo app.
