Thread: time to upgrade my turbo

What i have currently is a bbt25 with an avenir manifold i love my turbo im not happy that its on the verge of going they dont rebuild these turbos.

1. What turbos fit the avenir manifold besides the t25.
2.if i buy a gtir manifold and go gt2871 will my vrs downpipe work?
3.the 18g can run with gtir msnifold what else need add to my setup?

Im looking for about 350hp on my next setup just would like some knowledge from you guys so i go in the right direction when i purchase my new setup

Avenir manifold dosen't fit crap. Go Gti-r, but you will still have to grind the block alot to get it to fit. And the downpipe will work as long as you keep the same 02 housing.

Why would you need to grind down the block?

Im also considering going t3

go t3 and dont ever look back

the gt2871r will fit with out grinding with the right compressor cover (2.75 inlet vs 3"). it will also do 350whp and bolt up to everything you have.

I have a 2871r with an HKS wastegate and a JGY(ported GTi-R mani)mani if interested.

This,sounds good to me something simple .

If you order from atp you can get the gtir type compressor cover as well. This will make the turbo fit just like stock.
