Thread: Gtir help

Im doing a gtir det swap into my p11 g20 and i just need one more thing to get her up and running!
Some info on my swap: Im running a jwt obd2 ecu with all stock gtir parts (i.e. injectors, maf, harnesses...ect.) in my p11 chassis

The problem is that cranks but it doesn't want to start. The ecu is throwing two camshaft trouble codes, p0010 and p0015. and it makes sense because I neglected to splice in the camshaft sensor pins.. :/ but upon further inspection I have researched that the pinouts for the gtir don't even have wires for camshaft sensors... so me and my dad are at a stand still. So I need someone who can tell me how to even go about solving this problem.

If the P11 chassis is froma year 2000 or above ther is some other minor modifications to the harness I do not know exactly but you may find it in this forum or G20.net.

Oh yeah I forgot its a 99' p11 and all I need is the where the camshaft sensor wires go, I modified everything else already, it cranks, but doesn't start because of the codes stated above.

Can nobody help? I really need my daily driver back up and running and i cant find anyone who will be willing to help out...

what year and chassis ecu are u using? also what distributor are u using?

i used the wiring guide below to wire in a b14 obdII jwt ecu into my customers 99 p11. i had no issues after doing the wire car ran great.

How to correctly use a 94-97 B14 ECU in a 99 P11

I'm not sure what the original chassis ecu is that I'm using because it came from jwt, but if I'm not mistaken its from a 94-97 Sentra. As for the distributor I'm using the one that is stock on the Gti-r, if it clears anymore things up, all the parts concerning the engine and harnesses are all stock.

Thanks and I believe the ecu is from a 94-97 Sentra? I'm not sure because it came from Jim Wolf Technologies and if it clears things out more, all the parts that concern the engine and harnesses are stock from the gtir.

Ok I don't know if the last two replies went through, but I'm no sure what the chassis for the ecu is because I got it second hand, and its from Jim Wolf Tech but if I'm not mistaken it would be a 94-97 Sentra ecu? And if it clears anything else up, everything concerning the engine and harnesses are stock from the GTIR.

as far as the gtir engine is concerned, your gonna wanna put all of your US sensors onto the gtir. like coolant temp, o2 sensor, etc.
i would use your p11 harness and just perform the modifications listed in the links.
your gonna wanna run your p11 distributor too.

Damn... I wish I knew this a couple months ago because now unfortunately that's not an option because we did all of this from our garage and the engine we had, and harnesses along with it was scrapped sometime ago... I hope you can tell me some good news and that there is an alternative to doing this...
