Thread: gtir swap wont start ecu problem?

its not a turbo problem as much as its an ecu problem but i swapped my gtir motor from a 91 ser to a 93 ser and it wont start, im running a jwt ecu same tune as before z32 maf and the rest is stock but its not getting an ecu signal on the jw or the stock ecu it ran fine in the other car and re-used the harness from the 91 i was told by jwt that the engine harness' r the same on the 91 n 93 its been 3 weeks and im at a loss please help and dont tell me to search, ive done nothing but search

Double check your grounds check if your getting fuel and spark and go over all the relays bet you it's a simple problem

How bout that fuel pump in the 93?

fuel pump worked fine before i swapped the motor car started until i pulled it
