UK 10:1 on boost?
I know, I know, thousands of people ask about DEs on boost. But anyway,
i have both a uk 10:1 compression block and a stock 9:5:1 compression motor.
Both are in nice shape, just deciding which would be better for boost. And if the 10:1 is even a option. My plan was to run stock t25 with c2 cams springs and retainers and det valves on a stock block with 370cc injectors, ecu chipped for the setup and run about 8 pounds. Which is the better block to use? The last thing I wanna do is blow up my stuff. Just asking for help. No ones dick opinions about 400 people ask this question. Thanks! Much appreciated.

The lower compression ratio would be better/safer .

Yeah, do the lower one. You'll have more room to play with.

Also, I'm still waiting for a pic of the speed sensor :P

Why only 370cc injectors? Id forget about the c2 cams get bigger injectors at least 740cc and use the 10:1 motor. Both motors are good for boost though. 10:1 feels grat on boost though. And yes this question gets asked alot and i wish there was a filter that prevents people from asking repititive answers only to get the set of answers. Do your search next time and spend at least five minutes doing so.

Why 740cc? And what would you do in my situation? Like how many pounds would you run and everything? Thank you

I ran 10:1 on boost for my first setup. It was a monster. But it was also a steep learning curve, ran a 13.4 while blowing the motor halfway down the track. Melted the intake side of all the pistons. 10:1's have DET heads, same everything else but the pistons, tunning is key. U will have a bigger marginal for error with the 9.5:1.

Have a proper tunable ECU and have it professionally tuned and you will be fine.
