bad valves or rings?
Wassup guy two months ago i went to the track the car ran fine after i finished i notice the car felt a lost in power and it shut off on me ..i started it back up and i checked the spark plugs numbers 3 and 4 the tips were melted off.. Then i did a compression test and got 90 in cylinders 3 and 4. So i added oil to those cylinders and the compression went up to 120.
The car doesnt smoke at all not even thought the breather but when i try to get on it it just breaks up. Also in the morning i have to hold my foot on the gas until its warmed up if not the car will shut off right away.im stumped i dont no if it the valves or the piston or rings i dont want to tear it apart until i get some opinions because this is my only car t

do a leak down and know for sure. Does not really matter since it needs a rebuild. If its your only car then I would just look into swapping in another motor. That can be done in a day.

Ya if you're spark plug tips were gone most likely fried the ring lands.

Def a ring prob wether its a burnt ring , cracked ringland , or pinched ring will only be decided when you take it apart.

Yeah, ring lands are shot, it wont smoke from the breather all the time unless they are cracked severely. 90 psi is pretty low though and usually a sign that its cracked severely. At that point it should be smoking from the breather when running or revving it.

Once its warmed up just rev the motor by hand at the throttle, make sure the breather from the valve cover is opened up and rev the motor to 4500-5k and let it fall back to idle, Almost always it will puff smoke, Then do a quick high rev blip of the throttle and again, watch for smoke out the breather.
