Thread: not a sr20 but my saxo turbo

Hello, I'm new to this forum so bare with me

I have a 2002 saxo vtr, and have been gathering bits and bobs for the last 8 months to turbo it, I have had help from over on sax-p but not many don't know about turbo charging a naturally aspirated engine.

Here is what I have
Front mount intercooler
Boost pipes
Colin motor sport dump valve
Turbosmart boost T
Cituning s/s manifold
S/s downpipe
Garret t28 from a 300zx
S/s braided oil feed
Modified sump with oil return
Mocal 13 row oil cooler
Walbro 255 uprated fuel pump
Megasquirt v1.3 ecu
Green cotton filter

I know I need some bigger injectors and a decompression plate, but what else will I need ?

And what are the specs of the garret turbo ?

Sockets and wrenches to start bolting the stuff on. Looks as if you have covered the basics. You may need a new clutch.

Haha yeah they are ready too, and as for the clutch I was thinking either a 4 or 6 paddle,

Got excited today was looking in the shed and found a brand new set of arp rod bolts, was hoping to use them on the saxo but they are for a sr20, many people use these ?

What the hell is a Saxo? Any pics? Been in the car industry for ten years now and have no idea what kind of car that is.

Haha, ues they are french, hence them not being veery well made, I've got the chance of some injectortune 570cc injectors for cheap so going to purchase them, and will get pics up tomorrow night as I'm only on my mobile

What 300z came with a t28? I thought the single turbo ones were a t3 turbo and the twin turbo two t25s. I could be very wrong as I am just trying to remember off the top of my head without searching to verify, lol. Use the search button or google, I will tell it to myself this time, I deserve it but it is late and I just noticed you asked for the specs for the turbo. If I had noticed before I would have looked but it is late and I am falling asleep typing this. If no one responds I will search tomorrow.
