Not parting out. Im not giving up on this. I was right there, had a small setback, making some changes to move the powerband down 1000 rpms, limiting revs to 9500-9700 or so, ATI balancer, bigger clearance on the bearings to compensate for the thicker oil. I dont need to rev it any higher than that with the new turbo going on and my gearing is perfect for those revs. I can attain 165mph in 4th gear on a 24.5" slick at 9700 rpm.

Im probably gonna go with a 26" slick this time just to assure the best possible traction and also adding about 150lbs of weight bars on the front to help with traction as well.

The car will be corner balanced again after the changes and aligned.

Going to have Toxic Fab out of Texas make me a custom T4 forward facing manifold and custom intercooler setup to match using a garrett 5" core. The motor will make 900whp or break trying. But I dont think Its gonna break at that power level with the changes.

The 9 second pass is going to happen and hope to not only go 9's but deep into the low to mid 9's. Heres hoping.

Btw good choice for a manifold builder, for me Colin is one of the best fabricators out there.

The guy is insane. He was pretty excited to take on the project. So once everything is in the car it will be going down to him to have that done and then onto the dyno.

Awesome, I guess I have to stop by his shop since he's near me. He'll be doing my RWD VE manifold for my drift chassis after the Holidays. I found a donor chassis to put my swap in so he can fab everyting up for me. Can't wait really, but Holiday gifts take priority over car stuff. You won't be dissapointed at all with his work.

Josh, your right, 700whp would have gotten me into the 9's with a good pass. All i needed was to have the first half of my second pass with the topend of my 2nd half and it would have been an easy 9.7@155mph or better. I dont want to just get there though. I want to get there with ease and not just get there but really get there.

I know I wont be dissapointed with his work. There is nothing but amazement from his work. He takes pride in every piece he does.

Is the your engine still going to be 86mm?

Yep, not changing that. The pistons and cylinder walls are perfect. Head is staying just the way it is as well. Later down the road ill probably do a fully worked, heavy ported, big valve head but im gonna keep it as simple as I can and the head I have now has proved flawless. So not going to change anything and risk valvetrain problems.

Good idea no need to change anything, all you have to do is put her back together. You planning on going to the convention next year?
