Of course the gas guage is gonna drop a little when you punch it! You really need to change out that ECU though!

I don't mean to thread-jack (though it might help him out if he doesn't know this either), and I apoligize if this is ignorant of me but what do you mean by this:

Sorry if the answer is obvious, I just read it and my mind sort of blanked on it. If his wideband is showing normal numbers, your saying it could be a lie or misleading if the fuel map is all jacked up? Could you explain please? Sorry once again if this is something I should know or is supost to be common knowledge too us boost junkies, I must have missed that class .

^ my car did this 2 weeks ago on the dyno, my aem wideband sensor gotmessed up becuase the car was running too rich so the numbers were off, a hour and a half later the tuners noticed that the numbers they ere tuning off of, from wideband didnt look right, so they hooked up their own wideband, and they were right the sensor was fouled and the air fuel ratio numbers were off.
basicly my fuel cel lnumbers were off, and the wideband being fouled was showing different than the air fuel ratios really were. which obviosuly this can present a big problem becuae you dont know exctly where you are

I was messing with the guy...think back to the first Fast and Furious movie when the Maxima guy was complaining about his car, and the other guy says "that's cause you got a big hole in your fuel map"

LOL! Now I feel better. I guess I should have picked up on it with all the other F&F jokes you guys were laying down.

But on the real side, GT2871RBLUBIRD is right about widebands fouling out or failing over time. Which suck... I wish there was a way to know for sure when this is the case.

As for why you might be running stupid rich, have you checked for fuel leaks? Smell your oil and make sure it doesn't reak of gas. Or can you smell fuel while your at a stop? You never know, it could be something like that. when my injectors were leaking i never would have noticed it until i checked my oil. It wasn't running rich, but as she sat over night I would lose all the gas in the fuel rail. My mileage was for crap, and I could have lost my engine.

i just changed the o-rings on the injectors.

he is running stupid rich because of the g20 ecu. you end up with like 130-150 miles per tank (not flooring it all the time) with an ecu programmed for 259's when you are running 370's. fix the ecu issue and go from there
