Thread: Burn ALOT of gas

I'm just wondering how much gas does everyones else car burn. I have a stock u13 setup and pretty much every time i punch it the car just eats it up. Can anyone else see there gauge just fall down every time you punch it or is it just me. A full tank lasted me 4days and i really don't beat on it. Its a g20 ecu no 370 injectors would it make that big of a difference. I get about 14-15 at idle on the wideband.

the ecu is programmed for 259 injectors?? if it is then that is why you are getting such poor mpg's. what are your a/f's?

something is definitly wrong, i have my car dyno tuned, but im running 720cc,walbro 255lph,ect and i get excellant gas mileage even when floor it, i also have 12:1 ratio, if you have aem wideband d you suspect your air fuel ratios are overly rich watch out for the sensor to foul, my car was running rich before i just had this last tune and my sensor went bad, so just make sure that those numbers look right on the wideband

at idle they are about 14-15 crusing they are also 15-16, full throttle its 12:1. Is there a test i can do to see maybe i am leaking fuel at high psi?

You still didn't answer if you're using a stock g20 ecu or if its reprogrammed? If its a stock ecu, you're gonna be dumping a lot of gas.

Still makes no sense, you should be off the charts rich if you were dumping that much gas in it. Put the calum ecu in it u faggle.

Unless he had a big hole in the fuel map to make up for it...hmmm

At the local race wars? You know what they say about sr20s, they pull quite a premium

its a stock g20 ecu. calum sent me bad chips so waiting still on the new ones, should be here by now.
