Thread: DET ticking at head?

These things are gravy to change. Literally took me 45 min. I will post a write up with pics on the whole thing.

Ok guys I have it done, but we ran into a couple of snags. the oil filter would not come off, so we broke it haha. The older DE models came with that stupid filter placement on the side of the front cover. The later VE and RR motors have the filter located in the back of the engine honda style. So we are converting it.

I will do a write up of the oil filter relocation too.

OMG the oil relocation is the best mod to do for these cars! it puts the filter in an awesome location for easy removal! Amazing! The car fired up and everything is great! look out for that write up soon!
