The Type S is the most annoying blow off valve ever. I speak from experience, I had one, and hated it, if you like being the center of attention though, its a good one for you

Agreed, great piece with a cheap price tag.

well, im not a attention whore lol, so i don like the greddy type s for the actual sound of the bov, but theway it sounds, if that makes sense, im definitly more of a function vs form kinda guy.

i as just playing with the idea of seeing if they were any better than the greddy type s, but i just got over big issues with my car and the last thing i need is boost leaks and leaky bovs

i will prolly upgrade to the synapse

yeah i dont think all knockoffs are the same, however i use a TurboXS RFL knockoff and it works awsome. no problems adjusting it, just had to remove the washers and add one to get it right, took only a couple minutes. The thing is that this bov doesnt use a diaphram. it uses a plunger. Its the same identical design as the real TurboXS. other than outside changes. Its worked great and this is the second time ive used these with no problems, it holds boost really well with no problems, again its a much simpler design. nothing fancy, now ive heard bad things about the greddy type s knock offs and other ones that use the diaphram type design. I would not use those knockoffs. Hence the reason i chose the RFL. And i love the way it sounds. haha

yeah i am just short on cash at the moment to make any moves for the synapse as retuning my car and getting the wiring issues fixed cost almost 1k , the only real problem i have of now is the bov not wanting to act right.
