300zx fuel pump and nismo 740's.
just a quick question guys.

i just put in new injectors 740's @ 3 bar and a re-tune (jwt). my car feels like its breaking up after 6500, the tone of the motor/exhaust tone changes and the rpms dont climb as fast as it does before 6500.. the car usta have 370's @ 4bar and never broke up at all.

but my question this, i have a 300zx tt fuel pump. is the 300zx tt fuel pump able to push that much fuel ??

im going to pull the plugs tomorrow and check them out and maybe send the injs out for a cleaning and a flow test, when the cars down for some work (cage-re-pcing the ic pipes etc etc)

so if any one has any info or an opinion please post up. tia.

I thought a 300Z pump was good for 400-450whp? Sure you dont have a vac leak?

Did you remove any IC piping? Kinda sounds like a boost leak.

Make sure all the tbolts are still completely round. The ends of some of them can kink up and cause leaks. It is hard to explain, but I had that problem. I think I overtightened some of the clamps and it caused me a lot of headache.

^ ill check that out.

still breaking up after new plugs, ngk bkre7's, wich ben at jwt told me to run 6's but o well, they are gapped at 35 and he said 28. som im going to do that, re-check the fuel pressure 3 bar is 43.5.

he said at high rpm i might be blowing out my spark and then fouling the plug etc.

so im going to do that and go for another lil ride.

what a pain !
