Degreeing BC 264 cams
Im trying to lower my power band to come sooner on my car. I do know for a N/A sr20ve with N1 cams, advancing the intake and retarding the exhaust gets the job done. But what about a F/I with BC 264 cams? would it be the same way? Advance the intake, retard the exhaust?
my setup is GTiR manifold, GT2871r .82 turbine housing to 3" exhaust, and of course BC2 cams, running low boost most of the time, under 14 psi.
As we know JWT are far better cams so last nigth I was doing some spec comparisons and it seems the JWT's with similar profile, the Intake OPens a lot sooner than the BC2. SO if I get my degrees similar to the JWT Im assuming they should yeild better results hypothetically speaking.
