I know the JGY guys are blacklisted and all but they do have a Gtir version that's suppose to flow better then the stock Gtir manifold. Don't know if it actually does flow better or not.

stock for stock they flow better, but still not really worth it. i wouldn't pay retail for it, i rather get a GTIR which if ported is better.

now, if you where to run a different internal wastegate with a screamer jpipe you might be able to net something close to running a external gate.

internal wastegate like forge, agp, or the new turbo smart.

agp internal wastegate
SRT-4 AGP Wastegate Actuator Kit WGA - AGP Turbochargers, Inc. Store

forge
Forge Motorsport | Alloy Fabrication

turbosmart
New Release: Internal Wastegate for Subaru WRX STi

iirc, turbofx is working on a bracket to use the turbosmart wastegate. forge makes one for the GTIR, meeners and benfeener each have/had one. agp i don't think anyone has tried but i do have one.

and the price is not cheap, $150+

I have a couple buddies with srt's, once I get a t28 on my b14 I can see if the agp wastegate will work and update this thread once I do.

The forge just went down again to 123 euros and some change. I just bought from a guy that bought it for his mazdaspeed protege and its a pretty cool unit. And is also fully rebuildable and can be ordered for piston and/or conventional diaphragm. They also have spring kits available for it for higher boost. At 130 bucks or so I think its a pretty good option for better boost stability and add some bling to the bay.
