internal wastegate vs external wastegate help and manifold help.
I keep cracking this cheap manifold that I purchased from ebay.
So I need me a manifold that will hold up.
I really dont see any good looking manifolds that I would throw my money at for the internal wastegate setup like I have now on the car.
However I have seen some manifolds for external wastegates that I would throw my money at.
Now here is where you guys come into play..
I need someone to explain the differences to me between the internal wastegate and external wastegate please.
I have searched and searched and all I am doing is confusing myself. (im not the best at understanding what i have read)

I also would like to know whats the best manifold for the t28 for the sr20 motor?

Id like to stay internal wastegate if theres a manifold out there to hold the power.

If there is any information you guys need you let me know and I'll do my best to get that info for you all.

This means a lot to me for the help so thanks in advance.

There are many things to consider when going from internal to external. Go down a list of different things that you would be willing to except with a external manifold. For example: Not only the purchase price of a new manifold but having to get a new wastegate too.It will be a little louder than a internal wastegate. How much room your engine bay has(will your fans be in the way or Any if the A/C c

this was on my gtir manifold with the stock 02 housing. I went from 302whp @15psi with a gt28rs to 342whp. This was also on a stock de with s4 cams.

which one Keo? The gtir was a special miko deal. The el ASP manifold is still on my car. That manifold is the bomb you can clear a gtx35r with the 4" housing. Just need to use the t25 plus turbine housing.

Yep you can even mod a stock gtir manifold to do all of these things. Makes for a cheap and effective setup.
