i really wanna go gt3071r
So I'm about upgrade my turbo, and my two original choices were between a new GTX2863, or a popular 2871r. But after some searching the gt3071r has become a serious consideration.
How do the 3071r's hold up in t25 trim and internally gated(keeping boost between 12-15psi)? Clearance issues on a gtir manifold? Also not sure if this will be overkill for my sti injectors at 4bar(605cc) on jwt tune?
Any opinions?? Guys with experience with any of the three turbos input is appreciated.

love the gt3071r. I even picked up a gt3076r with the same 90 trim exhaust wheel with the intent of making my own gtx turbo on the cheap. The gtx turbos are impressive but pricey.

dumb question, but when you say in "t25" trim does that mean it looks like a t25 but better ?

No I just mean a 3071r with a internally wastegated t2 exhaust housing, I wanna keep my stock gtir manifold.

Weather you go with the 2871 or the 3071 I would definitly go external gated.
