GTiR Has a much bigger exhaust housing and will make more power.

GT28R is ball bearing and will have more response & less lag.

The GTiR turbo will make more power top end. The GT28R will lose 'puff' at higher rpm much quicker due to the small exhaust housing.

No the exhaust housings are not interchange able. The GT28R has a simlar sized exhaust housing as a T25.

"GT28R" Is the name of the turbo which is found stock on facelift S14, s15's and xtrail GT's.

If you want something bigger in the T2 series, look into a GT2872R or a GT2876R. These are much bigger.

The GT28R is closer to a T25 than a T28 in my books.

What kind of set up are you wanting to run and power goal?
