Thread: Let's Talk FPRs

Typically I like to keep the stockish look on my setups, but after seeing the crazy hike in price for the Nismo FPRs (circa $215), aftermarket units are not looking so bad. I'm considering an Aeromotive unit.

So what units are you running? Pics of your setups also appreciated.

Im running a Weldon 2040 4-200psi regulator. I have it mounted on the drivers side strut tower where i have my clutch reservoir mounted. It has -12 in ports and -10 out port. Im using -12 to -10 fitting for the in, -12 plug for the other in, and a -10 to -8 an return fitting. I have my feed line going to one side of the rail and the return going to the regulator and then the out port of the regulator back to the tank.






The Weldon regulators are rated one of the top units out there on the market. Havent had a problem with the one im running. Awesome regulator.

You can get them with different size port openings and for different pressure ratings. The standard one is a 0-120psi regulator. Again equally as good. Just depends on what your planning to run for fuel pressures and what size you want the in/out ports to be. All that does is affect flow capabilities if you were running a large pump. I think for you the 0-120 regulator w/ -10 in and -8 out ports would be fine.

I always used aeromotive and mounted them onto my rail itself. The new eliminator series is more compact and build for crazy HP and about half the cost

I'll be running a relatively simple setup - 740s & Walbro 255L. It is more than I'll ever need.

I would love to run a setup like that, but I am very limited. I'm running a N1 manifold...top feed rail is out of the question since it won't fit.

The eliminator comes with small AN ports ( I think -6) you can mount it anywhere. Also you can brass weld a fitting on to the end of the rail like how the Gtir guys do to the stocks.
