Thread: t3/t4 build questions.

Hi, i am currently building a sr20de+t. I have a motor im building, with new rings/bearings and getting a new valve guide installed. Im going to run a t3/t4 topmount setup with 1000cc injectors and a n62 maf, with 2 step chipped in it. Now what im wondering is how much horsepower should I make it, and how many pounds of boost should I run? I dont wanna blow it up, But I wanna make it as fast as possible. Trying for atleast the 300hp+ range. Give me your opinions! Thanks!

overkill on the injectors if all you want is 300whp.

What are the specs on the turbo?

Go with a t3 and do a 60-1 turbo. 300+ all day on pump gas. Best drivability wise you might want to look into a standalone like AEM EMS 4

it will be 300 for now thats why the 1000cc injectors.

go a 50 trim I say. Less lag than the 60-1

a t28 will do 300whp....most good t3 t4 turbo's will be out of efficiency range at that level.....if you have plans to go lots bigger than 300whp later just get some subie injectors and a t28....save the big stuff for that setup
