does anyone like low boost over high boost?
so when i run 10psi of boost ..I hear the vvl crack and so wheel spin (1st and 2nd) ..at 20psi wheel spin central (1st 2nd 3rd) ..so its like 10psi having sex without a condom to 20psi with a condom you feel it but you Don.t ..anyone else prefer lower boost over high boost?

I love low boost on my car. 10-12psi is amazing, the car gets traction and yet still pulls really really hard! But I have a rather large turbo.

not a very specific question. BUT as far as a street car, i prefer a high compression setup with a decently sized turbo with a sane amount of boost.....18g de on 15 psi is just perfect to me. driveable as a daily, manageable wheelspin....in our fwd cars, a lot of boost aided hp is kinda pointless, on many levels.

I agree. My 6262 is awesome with high revs and VVL. 10psi street makes well over 300whp with ease. And that is FUN!

Only as far as saving money on fuel cost premium vs race gas. lol.

I ran 20psi on pump daily with my 60 trim t3 setup, 430whp and it spun pretty much 1st through 3rd and slightly in 4th. But the car was so light it was still pulling like a freight train while spinning.

30psi and race gas, it was spin city all through 1st,2nd,3rd, and 4th and some of 5th tried spinning too, again all while still pulling like crazy.

All in all, I prefer high boost. The sound of the turbo sounding like a jet engine whine is awesome.
