I still have the pistons, rods, crank and intake. But thats it. The head and block went to scrap metal

Keep the SR18 head if you are planning to use the SR18 block.

If you use an sr20 head (86mm chamber) with an SR18 block (82mm pistons) you will just cause more hassle for yourself.

The SR18 from the import Serie GTi Pulsars had 143hp. The cams were more aggressive and the compression slightly higher to achieve that.
