Thread: Flanged cat for 3" exhaust?

Hi,

I'd like to replace my 2.5" dp with a 3" VRS. Does anyone know who sells a 3" cat with flanges that bolts right up? All the ones I found don't have flanges. Are folks welding the cat directly into the exhaust or having flanges added by the muffler shop? I'd rather go the pre-flanged bolt it on myself route if possible.

in tx? thats awful of them to do. most people just get the flanges and have them welded on from what i have seen

yeah, buy the cat, buy the flanges, go to the muffler shop and have them install it. You are looking at $50 to weld and install the cat.
