i was reading this mod on other forums, a few people said it wasn't recommended that you should do it, but i mean I guess if it works? I'm prob gonna replace it with a better bov (a genuine one at that lol) but hey, might as well try it

Slap on an avenir recirc valve and call it a day, no need for unwanted attention on your dd

Do what bolt on the recirc valve? I'm new to boost so i'm kinda want the blow off sound until i get sick of it (if thats possible) or want a change. With the synapse I can get an adapter for the greddy flange so i'm prob just gonna go that route and I believe that is a no adjust bov

I have a greddy rs. ^this

I've had two Greddys (Greddies? lol). I took out the larger spring (the thread I saw recommended leaving the small spring) and adjusted both BEFORE ever using them. Both worked beautifully. I actually had surge problems with the DSM valve that I had previously, but it was crushed (a common 'mod' for those).

Anyhow, here is what I did:

And here is where I did it (with pics):

If you take out the larger spring it will leak under high boost. take out the smaller spring and tighten the tensioner.

Fair enough, that probably would be a good idea for bigger setups. I've always run 10-15 lbs so I didn't run into issues. I've still got the extra spring just in case.

The thing I hated about the idea of bovs is that when it releases pressure or metered air it runs rich for just a second. That is why I am happy with my recirc valve. But if you want the whooopshhh sound they have an app for that.
