Thread: my car gets hot!

as the title says my car has been getting hot after a couple of runs or if I'm park still for too long if I move or Rev it up the temperature will go down.

I have jdm sr20 with a w11 t25 .

So what I read was, if you don't rev, your engine gets cold??
I think that would be your thermostat

what are the exact temps?

If you take the turbo off, it will run much cooler. Just saying....

if I'm parked for too long the temp gets hot. but if I Rev the motor while I'm still it drops.
I can't tell you the temperature because I'm not running any aftermarket gauges. have you guys had any problem running castrol gtx because after I changed oils it began happening more often.
its always happened while still but now more then ever I am running. one OEM fan and a slim fan they both come on.

this is true, but I wouldnt drive with a constant smile if it was n/a

well does it over heat? over flow boiling? or what? you dont need aftermarket gauges to check your temp, you can read the temp right off the ecu with many programs

Wat radiator u running?

check the temp bulb that is correctly installed...

have you bled your coolant?
