What headgasket to use
So I have a stock UK bottom end and I just got my Mazwork ARP headstuds and now I need to deside on a headgasket. Looking to make 320-350hp. I hear cometic is crap. What you guys think I should go with?

Use the OEM paper gasket for a DE or DET. Use the OEM multi-layer metal gasket (VET?) for a VE or VE+T.
For those power goals, use the stock stuff.

VET gasket or Cosworth. For you I would do the Cosworth gasket. FRSport.com has them for 150, Absolutely awesome gasket. Never had any issues with many many builds that ive used them on.

The VET gasket is also very good and a bit cheaper but Cosworth is definitely better.

no, he is talking about a de motor though.

Cosworth doesnt make a vvl gasket.

i ended up using an OEM Nissan paper material gasket as both the head and block were not decked and had no warpage. For me i didnt want to touch the bottom end really and get myself deeper into a project so i went with a simpler solution. Both the vet and cosworth gaskets are really quite good so anyway you go youre really not hurting your situation.
