My experience with PTE is not so grand. After mine seized, I was told by a tuner that he has seen a lot of Precision journaled turbo's fail, and usually they would be rebuilt with Garret CHRA's. Well mine failed with a Garret CHRA, now blame could be pointed at me for not rebuilding it right.
IMO point of failure
New PTE CHRA's that should be better then previous ones, I didn't use this guy because it's oil only cooled.
Shame that I paid extra for the billet wheel that got eaten
