That was a great thread.

When the W11 was installed in my 92 SE-R, I followed the advice in kevwal's post #17. which said:
"I normally use the 1.6 line on most af the DET swaps I do, but most of the cars were 91'-92'. I just bend the line a little bit in the vise and it works perfect."

So I went to the junk yard and found a 92 Sentra 1.6 whose A/C line end fitting matched mine.

The line comes straight up(no loop)from the passenger side of the compressor and once it's up by the overflow tank, follows the original routing exactly.

Have a shop evacuate the system, they might be able to refill it back with same fluid once you replace it.



Indeed! I would not use a 92 R12 line though, if your going to a 1.6 line use an R134 one that is built much tougher (R134 has higher pressures).

I guess Ima bend it in the mean time cuz I already prepped the engine for removal.so I should just pick up a 1.6 line new have it vacuum down and recharge it

And power steering.

Power steering is a given.
