Thread: widebands got pricey on ebay...

When I made a parts list in feb a basic innovate lc 1 kit with gauges, harware, soft ware, sensor, ect for 130 shipped. Now its 199. Even aem ugeo are 200. Any where I can I pruchase new and still stick around my 130ish budget? I need everything. Software idc. I want to read my afr on a gadge that's it. I don't care about brand. I'm running a entry level bullshit (compared to most of u guys boosted here) turbo set up and just need to set my afr's normal with my safc. Thanks for the help

eh, gotta pay to play.. look into the 14point7 stuff, we have a vendor here. if i didnt have my zeitronix thats what i'd be getting.

i just checked out the zeitronix, lol looks fresh but no-go for me, i can afford it but rather save more money for a better tune. i just need some bullshit to throw under the passenger seat, i dont care if the gauge is ugly just need something with afr or lambada numbers. i checked out the 14.7 vendor, might have a go with that.

the thing is, you can do some tuning yourself if you can log afr

nistune, nismotronic and many other things will let you log your afr, this really helps with tuning! spend a little more an get the right stuff.

i think that 14.7 allows me to log but i need buy an additional rpm sensor to fully use that benefit. im using a safc2, i dont think it logs afr at all. i was just going to drive around and tune the safc based on the afr the best i can and take it to the tuner, let him dyno tune it. im moving on to a nemu or other real time b13 ecu. its just a real long process getting a 2001 p11 to work with a 91-93 ecu and stay code less but def worth it.

Look for an Innovate MTX-L. It's very easy to install like the UEGO, but is a ton more tuner friendly. I bought an LC-1 but sold it after I didn't want to deal with the wiring and the fresh air calibration button, etc.

I still like the AEM UEGO too, it did me well for 4 years and is still kicking. It's just MTX-L has cheaper replaceable o2 sensors too.

Checked ebay myself, looks like all MTX-L's are $200 too. Hit up Amazon for $175:

Replacement o2 sensors aren't that bad for AEM UEGO.

I'm seeing a bunch of MTX-L's on eBay for under $170 now, bad search query earlier .



$80 for Uego one, that's why I just bought a whole new wideband instead... Plus MTX-L is more tuner friendly.
