Thread: Greddy Profec-B Help

Well I have the older model Profec-b and I hooked it up last night so I could set a base setting of 7 psi in preparation for a 12psi high boost setting coming this weekend when I tune with my new wideband . Its a t-25 setup. Anyways, the real issue. No matter where the knobs are or if the controller is on or off the car is just boosting as much as it wants. Is it possible for the box that controls the boost to be broken or if the signal in the back of the unit itself isnt getting a reading? any help is very appreciated

are the vac hookups for the solenoid backwards? Can you switch the boost source and vac line.

Nope its hooked up to a boost source to the IN on the unit and then the OUT goes to the wastegate. I tried it the other way also and it still had the same effect.

im going to be hooking my profec b up tonight or tomorrow.

make sure the 4 numbers on the back of the boost controller are in the right position.

there are diff settings for internal and external ext and you have to have the numbers in the right spot. id check for you but my directions are all packed away in my car.

if you cant figure it out i can look sometime tonight or tomorrow.

start is right,

i have the old skool B also and its easy to tune. If you need the manual i have it.

The reason is there are difrent type wastegate setings and all will not work with each other.

I messed with it and still couldn't get it to work. I found a website with all the configs and still nothing. Is it possible the box could leak?

bumb anyone?? is it possible for the box that the wastegate lines go into to leak?

if you want come by my house and i will help you out on saturday before i go fishing.
