** E85 meets 6266 **
Well the time came and went, last night we went round 2 of our tuning session after having some fuel restrictions last week. Off the trailer the car made 498whp 360ft lbs at 22ish psi. the regulator was jumping when in boost but that was fixed with running direct power via a relay to the pump.
Pull after pull we finally get the A/F where it needed to be and started with timing. The more we gave it the more she wanted. After a ton of pulls the car wasn’t improving and was settling at 530whp. We scratched our heads thinking why so down on power.
We started looking everything over and re-routed the boost controller and then boost came on better with the ramp up, so then proceeded to clean up those cells in the fuel table. Then realized that during the whole pull the motor is only seeing 22-25psi from 5500-7800k rpm then hitting 28 from 7800-8k RPM.
We figured lets crank it up to a steady 28-30psi on the pull and let it hit peak boost at peak RPM. And what do you know with a 2psi increase on the controller she shot to 590whp the very next pull then back it with a 595. Overall it went well, the 6266 wants more rpm and more boost but I cant give it anymore as I feel we have pushed the max the stock head will give without having to add NOS.
So there you have it 595whp 424ft lbs @33psi
My girl for my 6266 bday gift love you
Reggie @ OSR tuning for working the keys and unleashing the power.
Bisi @ Bisimoto for the AEM EMS
Rick @ Keke fab
Manny @ Clockwork performance
Now just need to wrap up the little things like securing the ecu , connecting the master cutoff switch and the line lock and shes ready to rock and roll. Passes @ Irwindale coming this month
