A few turbo questions
I got a ball bearing comp turbo CT4-6062. Shooting for 4-500 whp. I have a already built and broken in W10 Avenir motor in the car, just gotta get everything together and put it on. I need to know where a good place is to get oil and water lines for the turbo. Needless to say, I don't trust ebay with my $1300 turbo. I want some quality parts that I will only have to buy once. I was also wondering if a 27x10x3 intercooler is big enough to support that power.

GFD oil feed line. Stock oil drain. What manifold/placement are you using? Either way, water lines are pretty simple. Just get the right banjo fittings and run your own hose. That stuff can be found reliable at summit racing and plenty of other reputable shops. Possibly even at GFD too (Murray's Go Fast Depot).

27x10x3 is fine, but I like to see as big as is convenient so I'd go 20"x12"x3" core (27"x12"x3" with end tanks) if I were you.

I have a Circuit sport Water/oil line kit I will be selling soon. It worked with my top mount T3 and also worked with my T25. All you would need is a -6 fitting for one of the coolant ports on the turbo. All braided line. Very nice set.

Like Benfenner said...I used the proper banjo fitting for the oil and water lines and then just ran my own hoses. I did obtain the stock steel lines off the turbo for use with the banjos but then just clamped on appropriate rubber hose to route.

The turbo will be top mounted. I'm looking for more of a kit that will have everything I need with braided lines, fittings, etc. That way I won't have to rig anything

Search for part number "GFD" and all of the old Go Fast Depot parts pop up.

I just remembered after clicking Bens links that although I did the water lines as stated above, I ordered oil lines from Greg V @ Gspec. They are steel braided and heat wrap protected. Very nice setup. You can visit Gspec.com or source him out here in the vendor section.
