Precision 5128
Anyone using this precision version of the 2871r? Just curious if fitment is the same, as far as block grinding or manifold milling. Thinking about going with this turbo.

it will fit on a oem det manifold. depending on what compressor housing you get you may need to grind. a 2.5" inlet will clear but the 3" will not. Forget about running the sp housing unless you have a custom manifold. The 5830 is the only turbo in that line that I would consider running.

Man I was looking into this yesterday for my p10 but couldn't find a T2 flanged precision turbo anywhere. I'm about to google that model number and check it out. I'll be back.

also you will need to enlarge one of the holes on the 02 housing to get it to line up right.

Should have clarified I'm using a gtir mani, is the 5830 t2 flanged? I'm assuming its a replacement for 3071r.

yes it comes with a t2 flange(.86 or.64 a/r) and can be had with a 3" inlet. the 5830 is pretty much a gtx3076r with a 56.5mm exhaust wheel.

Boost is addictive. If I had known what I know now I would have went with nismo 740cc injectors to start with or pte 1000cc. I have upgraded injectors 3 times. I am now running 740cc injectors.

now that ive decided i want to push over 350whp i definitly should have gone 740s but i already got my jwt set up for the sti at 4bar.. lol dont wanna spend another 120 for a reprogram and 740s are pretty pricey. But from what ive read i think ill be ok with my set up. looking to see around 375ish whp.
