Going to give the CX Racing dual core a shot as the over all size will help me. I am ordering it today and I have plans to modify the inlet and outlets in order to help me route the lines as neatly as I can. They are priced well so if it doesn't fit to my likings I will not be out so much.

A radiator or intercooler with more frontal surface area is better than one with half the surface area but twice as thick.

example.

Rad 1) 20" x 16" x .5"

Rad 2) 10" x 8" x 1"

These 2 rads hold the same amount of water but ( Rad 1 ) will cool much better because of larger surface area.

Ive been running a half width radiator for a long time. I have the mishimoto 2 core. Its actually about 2" thick so it does well. I daily drove it with an electric wp for an entire year without issues even in the AZ 125 deg summer days stop and go and could still punch it through the gears in the middle of the day and didnt see above 185 deg water temps. That was with a flexalite 1250 cfm fan on all the time. The flexalite single fan fits the radiator perfectly and it has the shroud w/ seal built on it and pushes alot of air through the radiator.

Hottest temp ive seen was about 187 or so on the dyno after several pulls in a row. Never got hotter than that.

Only thing ive switched was the upper neck to a -16 to run AN fittings and hose to the upper neck and water neck on the head. Lower is still the same and my wp is suspended by the hose to reduce vibration on the water pump. I bought the pump used and have used it for 2 1/2 years with no issues.

What I'd like to see is someone running the half rad. And only modes the hose setup while leaving the rad. Untouched/in modded

i am running an hose ends in the stock radiator location, but its unnecessary

its not a clear pic but you get the idea, its the same no mater what hose you run, my friend used silicone 90s and than ran an aluminum pipe between both 90 deg silicone couplers for the top and the lower hose the stock one works fine, i believe the ends on the civic rad is smaller than ours though,
